how to build a storage shed

Metal sheds

Steel and aluminum are the most popular materials to use for metal storage sheds. There are advantages and disadvantags of metal sheds and I will take you through them both.

Advantages-

If you don't know how to build a storage shed, metal sheds might be the right material for you, because you don't need to build a foundation unlike other types of sheds.

Metal sheds are resistant to fire, and are a lot cheaper than other types of storage sheds, so if money is an issue, metal sheds are highly recommended.

Metal storage sheds are also durable. They are heat resistant and very sturdy. Other materials, such as wood, are not as durable and cannot withstand climatic changes as well as metal.

A major disadvantage of metal storage sheds, is they tend to rust. If you live in a really humid environment, I wouldn't recommend a metal shed. Alloys such as duralumin and magnalium are used for some metal sheds, and they are resistant to rust and corrosion. These types of metal sheds are more expensive than a typical metal shed.
